West-Central Kentucky Family Research Association Meetings & Web Site -- The WCKFRA, P. O. Box
1932, Owensboro, KY 42302-1932, meets on the second Thursday
of each month at 7:00 p. m. in either the auditorium of the Daviess
County Public Library, 450 Griffith Avenue, in Owensboro, or
the WCKFRA Library, at 222 Walnut Street, in Owensboro. Membership
is $15 per year, which includes annual subscriptions to "The
WCKFRA Bulletin," the association's newsletter, and "Kentucky
Family Records," WCKFRA's genealogical periodical. Each
are published quarterly. The Society has many publications for
sale and, also, maintains a library-workroom at 222 Walnut Street,
Owensboro, Kentucky, open each Wednesday, from 9 a. m. to 12

Island Database. As much as 40% of the United States

Guide To Naturalization Records in the United States

Surnames
of Kentucky - Surnames for Kentucky ancestors. "Traditions
and Treasures: Kentucky Folklife" - This site is the
outgrowth of a folklife project started between a 5th-grade class
of Meadowthorpe Elementary School (Lexington, KY) and a U.S.
History class of Garrard County High School. Kentucky Cemeteries
- A site dedicated to Kentucky cemetery records. It contains
actual Kentucky cemetery records, as well as a directory of links
to sites with Kentucky cemetery records. Historical
Indexing - They provide personal names and subject indexes
of Kentucky Newspapers from the late 1800s to the mid-1950s.
Counties indexed so far are Boone, Carroll, Floyd, Harlan, Letcher,
Owen, Owsley, Perry, and Wolfe Counties. Click on catalog for
