Each month, The Kentucky
Explorer magazine receives literally scores of letters from
our faithful readers. Among those letters we often find queries,
ranging from requests for words to songs and poems to trying
to locate former classmates and military buddies of long ago.
Here are a few queries from December
2006/January 2007

Dear Editor:
I would like to have the lyrics to the song The Little Girl and
the Dreadful Snake.
Also, I would appreciate any bird gourd seeds, or any other type

Dear Editor:
Through The Kentucky Explorer I get to visit home every month
and see new family and friends.

Cecil Family
Photo
Dear Editor:
I have a photo I would be happy to give to any of the family
of a Miss Bertha Cecil of Mize, Morgan County, Kentucky. This
photo looks to have been taken in the very early 1900s and was
included in some old photos which belonged to my grandmother.
