Avenue, Erlanger, KY 41018, shares this photo of Penn's Store
in Casey County about 1900. She says, "My father, Floyd
Ellis, had the picture among his possessions. He loved to explain
about how these and other travelling peddlers came through Casey
County regularly. The men are George Aberham and John Shaheen
(I'm not sure about the spellings). The store is still sanding
and as far as I know, it is still open for business."
